Funny Bites #20 is a special comic strip of Funny Bites which flips the formula on it's head -- it has multiple pages and uses the main series art style through most of its pages. This was made due to Issue #2 of the main comic taking longer than anticipated. It features the debut of Rotten Pete.

Summary

Rotten Pete crash-lands next to The Cop and prepares to fight. He pulls out his infamous Bag 'o Tricks and reveals his first trick is reverting the art style from that of Funny Bites to the main series. This in turn also changes the location from an nondescript white void to his ship. The Officer is shocked by this, allowing Pete to swing at him with his sword. The mall-defending hero swiftly evades to the side and pulls out his pistol -- only for Pete to pull a bullet-proof shield from his Bag 'o Tricks. Pete then also takes out a raygun and fires at the cop, seemingly killing him. However, The Mall's Defender re-emerges, mentioning he wears raygun-proof cologne (in reference to Funny Bites #1.) The Cop then punches Rotten Pete, reverting the art style back. Pete then exclaims his catchphrase 'he who plundarrs and gets away, lives to plundarr another day!' before pulling a potion out of his bag and vanishing. The Cop is left in confusion.

Trivia

Despite mainly taking place in the main series art style, the text isn't in speech bubbles and is merely character coded, ala Funny Bites released after strip #5.
